Love was in the air as Shakira and her fiancé Antonio de la Rua enjoyed some quality one-on-on time while vacation in Punta del Este, Uruguay on Thursday.
The low-key couple owns a large farm on the upscale vacation spot which is nestled on the southern tip of Uruguay.
Skakira and her lawyer beau arrived earlier this week toting an large bristly Christmas tree. Needless to say, it must have been quite a carry-on to unload for the airport officials who helped them unload their private plane.
Shakira often spends her holidays in Punta del Este where she frequently escapes to write songs and spend quiet time alone with love ones. The singer plans to spend the entire holiday season in the beautiful resort town, surrounded by friends and family.

Private plane, wtf? She doesn’t care about greenhouse gases and climate change either? Not just is she a tax exile. We ordinary people are told to save energy in all possible ways like use energy saving light bulbs, etc.
But we alrady know she is a hypocrite and she doesn’t care.
She doesn’t want to pay taxes to her country Colombia, were they need to build hospitals and schools and other infrastructure with tax money. She lives in the Bahamas that is a well known tax haven, minimal taxes for millionaires. The big problem to poor countries like Colombia is that the the rich and successful people go to tax haven countries because these countries lose the very important tax money to build the society. Shakira may be selfish bitch like the rest, but DON’T POSE AS A HUMANITARIAN, PLEASE. It is an insult.

BTW, Shakira is a world famous star. Only a handful of them in the world. If anyone is going to take a private plane, it is going to be her. What do you expect? To see her in coach?

I don’t really think Shakira is a worldwide star anymore. She hasn’t been very successful in recent years and she’s not exactly A list anymore in my opinion. Her fiance is really hot though and she looks so relaxed and happy here. Cute dog as well!
