JESSICA AND DANE DO NERD PROM

‘Good Luck Chuck’ stars Jessica Alba and Dane Cook surprise attendees at the Comic-Con International event in San Diego on Thursday with an unannounced visit.

Comic-Con, the nation’s largest comic book convention, kicked off yesterday for four days of dork-heaven.

Jessica was a welcome sight for the many fanboys and pop culture junkies who gathered on the special night. But they weren’t quite sure what she was doing there promoting her latest romantic comedy.

If it’s any consolation, neither did Jessica.

She told USA Today: “I was wracking my brains trying to figure out why I was here for this movie and not last year for Fantastic Four. But then you realize that these guys are fans of all kinds of movies. Not just science fiction or fantasy. They love comedies, especially physical comedies.”

Wrong — guys (even nerds) like hot chicks. And you, Jessica, are a hot chick. End of story.

glad it’s not the “other” Jessica, though neither of them can act.

She is pretty boring. She must be Keanu Reeve’s secret love child. There’s no way she’s naturally that wooden.I agree that she should be promoting something like Dark ANgel or Fantastic Four considering the audience at those conventions but hey, I’m not her publicist.

I don’t like either one of these “actors”. They are both boring and minimally talented.

That’s crap that they were at the Comic Book convention to promote some lame romantic comedy that has nothing to do with it! If it was for Fantastic Four I would understand but cmon!!
I’m really not a fan of Jessica, she really doesn’t come across as a very nice or funny person and her acting is not good. The only thing she has got going for her is her looks and money. For some that might be a good combination but there should be a lot more to a person than that!
