TRAILER: ‘OBSESSED’

Check out the new trailer for Beyonce’s upcoming thriller, Obsessed.

Starring alongside Idris Elba and Heroes hottie Ali Larter, the singer/actress plays the wife of an asset manager whose world is turned upside down when an office temp begins to stalk her husband.

Obsessed is a family affair as Beyonce and her manager/father Mathew Knowles are executive producers. For the first time, Beyonce isn’t singing or playing a singer so let’s hope she’s brushed up on her acting skills!

The flick hits the big screen on April 24, 2009.

I am so sick of singers thinking that they can be actresses!! It is an insult to all those who are trying to make in the business. Beyonce is case in point…she sucks on screen!!

This bitch is awful. It’s seriously embarrassing to watch. Idris Elba could get this from every direction, though.

Umm didn’t see it, I think it has been taken off.
Beyonce can’t act ad needs to stick with singing, she is never going to get that Oscar. Well actually it’s not even about talent these days so you never know…………….

That was laughable. A piece of wood has more personality. I’m sick of this self-hating bitch and just want her to go away.

Beyonce, please stop acting. the movie looks interesting although it’s been done a thousand times before. I’ll probably catch it on HBO eventually. Idris Elba aka Stringer Bell is the man.

Going to break away from the crowd and say… I really commend her for trying something different. Maybe her efforts are crap and she’s not that great, but I always like to see people try something that’s out of their comfort zone (didn’t see any singing scenes).

BUT. What the hell is with the trailer basically telling us everything that happens? Revealed way too much… they should have gone for a more enigmatic or mysterious approach. Trailers need to present a brief hook, something to attract you to it, to make you want to find out more. Unfortunately, they go overboard in their desperation to fill theater seats.
