The young actress, dressed warmly in wool tights and a thick coat, stopped at a Beverly Hills Starbucks for coffee before meeting up with a man who appeared to be her manager or agent.
They then chatted and laughed as they walked to a meeting while Vanessa seemed to struggle to stay warm.
It appears that these days are all work and no play for Miss Hudgens as she recently canceled a 20th birthday party at Chateau Marmont.
Scheduled for last Sunday, all of the 20-year-old starlet’s pals were supposed to make their way to the legendary Hollywood hotspot to fête the High School Musical star.
So why did she bail? A source tells E!: “She canceled because she didn’t want the bad press because it’s a bar. She could have gotten in though, because they serve dinner as well.”

What about her music, Britney did it. I don’t know if her voice is better, but it doesn’t really matter . In ‘08 you don’t have to sing, the computer does it for you.
