Ryan Phillippe and girlfriend Abbie Cornish were returning back to their hotel after attending the Calvin Klein store opening when they were accosted by some photographers. That’s when a drunken Ryan hurled into an expletive-filled attack on one unassuming lensman. After charging at him and abusing him, a belligerent Ryan blasted: “We’re tired and I’m DRUNK!!!”
Moments later, police were called to the scene. They were soon rendered powerless to stop Ryan’s antics as he paraded around like a spoiled child who could not get his way no matter how hard he yelled, kicked or screamed.
No charges were filed. Ryan managed to return to his hotel room in one piece where he is likely sobering up as we read.

Why is Abbie laughing in all those photos? Ryan looks pissed off (as always) but it doesn’t appear he is “flipping out”. It sounds like the Aussie press is prone to exaggeration.
