But someone at the New York Daily News watched and it appears that all sorts of things didn’t add up, including the Heidi Montag/Spencer Pratt wedding/elopement:
Aside from the bald-faced timeline lies, how about that wedding? Spencer might not have drugged Heidi, as Mrs. Montag suggested in a recent Us Weekly interview, but Barbados Barbie certainly wasn’t of sound mind after all those tequila shooters. I mean, that has to be her excuse because I don’t know who would marry a dude who proposes by saying that he’s “obsessed” with you and that he just wants to “keep you from the world.”
At one point, Spencer told an intoxicated Heidi: “You don’t have to tell anyone. It’s our secret marriage.”
But it was never much of a secret. The pair appeared on the November 26 cover of Us Weekly with the headline “Heidi & Spencer Elope!”
