The 29-year-old tells the new issue of InStyle magazine: “I’m actually enjoying being single right now because I really never have been. I feel good in relationships. I enjoy them, so I feel my best when I’m in something solid. But it’s also the first time I’ve ever taken a step back and gotten a new perspective. So, I’ve made a conscious decision to try to stay single as long as possible.”
And while she’s been busy making movie after movie in recent years, Kate says she’s planning to take some time off in the new year. Why? To spend more time with her soon-to-be 5-year-old son, Ryder.
“When he climbs into bed with me, wraps his arms around me and says, ‘Mommy, the sun’s up! It’s a beautiful morning!’ I’m sorry, do I really want to go to work then?” she asks. “No!”

Normally I have a huge prejudice against actors who depend on plastic surgery to enhance their looks - Maniston comes to mind with her two nosejobs and other work. Kate has also had work on her face (like her brother), including a nose job, chin work and possibly cheek implants, but for some reason I can’t hate on her. True, this is an immature chick when it comes to relationship, yet she’s a super talented and appealing actress. I’ll watch her in pretty much anything.
