MEG THE MOM

She may be an A-list actress who stars in big budget Hollywood movies, but Meg Ryan is a mother first and foremost.

That’s why it comes as no surprise to see the 47-year-old actress picking up her daughter Daisy True from the First Presbyterian Nursery School in Santa Monica, CA.

The non-profit, church-related and non-denominational institution houses a who’s who of celebrity babies. Daisy True counts Violet Affleck and Charlotte McDermott (daughter of Dylan McDermott and Shiva Rose) as classmates.

I wonder how a woman like her - someone who has mutilated and distorted her facial feature to grotesqueness through plastic surgery - teaches her 4 year old daughter how to love her own face/features when it’s so clear that she doesn’t like her own.

Sorry, but I wonder how a woman or man like you teaches their kids about respect when you so obviously have no respect for someone else. Meg can explain to her daughter it was a mistake she made. Can you?

Bimbola, your name sums up your existence and relevance in society but I’d also like to take this opportunity to tell you not to be such a presumptious cunt who likes to pick fights on gossip message boards. NOBODY was talking to you bimbo. Nobody. And second of all, my comment was a legitimate question about excessive plastic surgery for intelligent people. Your blatant stupidity aside, there are plenty of answers one could give to my question (whether or not I agree with them). As far as me explaining anything to my children. (1) i do not have kids (and thank god because then they would have to contend with dumb rocks like you) and (2) I’ve never had plastic surgery. Don’t need it. Further your education.

Meg used to be so cute. I believe she still would have looked so, even while growing older. But she had to ruin it with plastic surgery. It’s really a shame.

well good for you. you must be a beauty. i wonder if that’s the case why the hell you posted all day on this blog. nothing better to do?
i don’t know why people care so much about what other people do with their bodies. it’s her damn face and she didn’t like getting wrinkles/ no big deal/ i don’t know why plastic surgery has such a stigma attached to it. especially when these celebrities are always criticised for their looks. i sometimes wonder how they handle it/ her daughter is soooo cute

Anon 7 - fair enough and I couldn’t care less what she does to her face either. But if you can congratulate and defend Meg Ryan for having plastic surgery than I can JUST AS WELL question how, in the presence of her clear insecurities, she teaches her daughter to love her own features while she alters hers so dramatically. You can’t feed the argument and then deny another person the right to do the same thing dear. And as far as the amount of time I spend on the board, I answer that with the same statement you gave me (and I quote) ” I DON’T KNOW WHY PEOPLE CARE SO MUCH ABOUT WHAT OTHER PEOPLE DO….” (follow your own advice).

Doesn’t she also have a son named Jack (with Dennis Quaid)? What happened to him, is he out of the house now?

Nova, doll, GET*A*LIFE Nobody was defending her for surgery. The thing is people make MISTAKES, so did she. That does not make her a bad mother. That does not mean she cant teach her kids about feeling good about the way you look. It certainly does not give US the right to judge them. You don’t know this celebrity and you don’t know her daughter. So obviously you have no idea what you are talking about.
