In light of the painfully slow news day, some shots of the glorious Kate Hudson (rocking her new Tom Ford sunglasses) on the set of her latest flick (a short film this time), alongside young talent Dakota Fanning and Jane Krakowski.
Following in the footsteps of pal Jennifer Aniston, the actress is making her directorial debut with the help of Glamour magazine. Kate was given an estimated $500 000 to shoot her movie for the publication’s third annual Reel Moments. She was given just three days to shoot her film.
A panel will select a winner at the October 9 Los Angeles premiere of the three shorts. (Aniston won last year for her 2006 flick, ‘Room 10.’)
Actresses who have taken part in previous years include Gwyneth Paltrow and Bryce Dallas Howard.

I hate to say it but does anyone else think she looks like Britney here? The whole updo with sunnies and lack of makeup. I’ve actually thought they resembled one another before actually. I think Kate is cute and she looks more and more like her mom every day but I prefer Britney’s features over Kate’s surprisingly. No matter how downhall Britney falls she will always have that great smile and pretty eyes.
