KATE AND LEO’S REUNION AIN’T NO TITANIC

We’ve been buzzing for weeks about Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio reuniting for the first time since Titanic in new movie Revolutionary Road.

But today’s New York Times points out that fans should not watch the movie expecting the excitement and romance of their previous blockbuster pairing because this film is based one “one of the bleakest books ever written.”

Bummer.

Did they airbrush definition into Leo’s pecs? He’s a little chubby in real life, I do believe.

LOL this is so stupid, of course its NOTHING like Titanic, and if you read the book you would’ve known that!

Why compare the two movies… one is a boat that sunk off the coast of Nova Scotia and the other is about
domestic life in the 50’s They air brushed Kate for the magazine cover because in real life she is not that thin.

Talk more aboutthis movie and less about comparing it to their other movie.. It would be like comparing
Tom Cruise in Top Gun and Valkarie.

Why compare the two movies? … I don’t think it’s a comparison. People really seemed to connect with their on-screen chemistry in Titanic and obviously were excited for another collaboration. It’s akin to some people liking the pairing of Richard Gere and Diane Lane, or Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks, or… uh… going back many decades now– Cary Grant, Katherine Hepburn, Spencer Tracy (pick your fave).

I haven’t read the book, but after coming off of re-watching Who Framed Roger Rabbit… I can watch a downer movie :o).

Kate Winslet is an ACTRESS, Leo is a STAR. He’s lucky to be in her company again.

^ ahem, to each their own. I find them to both be very talented actors. They both have done great movies since ‘Titanic’ and I am very much looking forward to seeing them in this movie as well:)

The only reason Winslet gets the best roles is because she is married to a famous director, otherwise she would have no career.
