It was a case of better-late-than-never as Tom Cruise said he regreted the tongue-lashing he gave Matt Lauer on NBC’s Today show the last time he was on.
Appearing on the show this morning, the 46-year-old actor says he didn’t intend to come across as arrogant when he criticized Brooke Shields for taking anti-depressants in 2005.
“After looking at it, it’s not what I had intended,” Tom said. “That’s one of those things that you go, ‘I could have handled that better.’ I didn’t communicate it the way that I wanted to communicate it. That’s not who I am. I learned a good lesson.”
When the talk turned to wife Katie Holmes, Tom said, “She’s an amazing woman.”
And when Matt asked if it’s time for another baby, the superstar said: “I think that’s a question for the woman.”
Tom is hitting up the airwaves to promote his Christmas feel-good Nazi flick, Valkyrie.

first the last time he was on the show and than proceeded to talk about his roast for 10 minutes.. All anyone
got to see about his movie was 5 minutes.. Long winded Matt would not shut up about everything else
and when Tom wanted to talk about just the movie … Matt said “And we will get to that in a minute but first
we will talk about me!”
Arrogant….jerk off….shit headed….smug….self serving….there are other terms I’d call it….This Redemption Tour won’t work….the Troll knows that his number is up and if this movie flops he will be the most UN-marketable whore around and he knows it….he doesn’t mean a word he says…..he’s on the bubble so he’s workin’ in for all it’s worth…..otherwise he’s be building a volcano manger to Xenu at home if he didn’t have to whore this movie flop.
He is the only one that will be affected by it since it is his studio that put the millions in this movie… Can’t wait for Katie and Tom show.. Rest of the cast and Brian Singer just stay home it is Toms movie..

It is getting to the point that it is sad that he keeps being picked on by the media and by the public. Jeeze the guy cant seem to live down the couch episode. Ever since then as everyone knows he has been getting bad press. I think that it is or was over the top too but why do these people have to live shit like this down forever. People need to just let it go already. He is just another Hollywood actor that has a private life also. His career isn’t all there is to him. People can just be brutal when it comes to how artists are protrayed in the media or elsewhere. He has done some really good work and it would be nice if people quit focusing on the negative and remember so of the positive. He may be a little off but who isn’t??
