While the hunky British actor is currently enjoying some much-needed time off following the smash hit success of The Dark Knight, Christian will soon be back on promo duty pimping his latest action adventure project, Terminator Salvation.
And while the highly anticipated flick has yet to hit the big screen, Variety is reporting that producers Derek Anderson and Victor Kubicek will once again work with director McG on a fifth installment.
With positive studio, fan and media reaction to footage from the current pic, Kubicek says: “We feel the time is now to start shaping the next part of this.”
Christian — who stars as the human rebel leader John Connor — is signed up for three films. Terminator 5 is expected to land in theatres in 2011.

Such a great actor gets his thunder stolen by a reckless idiot that decides to OFF himself.
That is why Warner Brothers isn’t bothering promoting best picture or actors other than Heath Ledger… Who should of thought about Matilda which his family dedicated to.. before overdosing on pills..
Christian Bale will at least get to do another type of Super Hero…He doesn’t need to be picking up the award
