Beyonce looked simply hair-raising as she attended Los 40 Principales 2008 Awards at the Palacio de los Deportes in Madrid, Spain on Friday.
The Top 40 Awards are the only awards for music where the public and fans from Spain and Latin America choose the winners in various categories.
Tickets for the gala were sold out a month ago though the star of the evening — who sang her latest ballad, If I Were a Boy – was a surprise attendee.

Sorry but most women get fat after having a kid unless they have extreme plastic surgery all the time, plus Beyonce has a older way about how she carries herself i think she is beautiful and looks good and thats more than i can say about those other women after 30. I am around a lot of black women being that my man is black and my child is mixed and one thing i know they DO age very well in fact extremely well it makes me sort of jealous. I have seen black women in their 60s and 70, who look 40 and 50 now i know of no other race that can produce that even after plastic surgery and im talking women who never had it!
Tara, I’m a black woman dear. I know very well how we age. Yes, we are blessed. People think I’m in my mid-20s and are shocked when they hear my age. Most women, however, DO NOT GET FAT after having a baby. They have excess weight they need to get rid of (and usually do within a years) but you’re not understanding what I was saying: THERE ARE SOME WOMEN WHO GAIN A LOT OF WEIGHT AFTER HAVING A BABY WHO NEVER RECOVER THEIR PREVIOUS BODIES. I believe Beyonce will be one of them (especially since she has said she has a naturally bigger frame and struggles with weight). Again, beyonce looks OLD. There’s no reason a supposedly 26 year old women needs to be dressing, looking and acting a like a 40 year old..
supernova, im of mixed race and i have a black fiance but thats neither here nor there , im not on here to argue back and forth with you. My views are mine , i dont think she looks old, i think she is redeeming those older icons she loves (women) and the hairstyles. I saw her not too long ago and she had a pinytail and she looks young to me. I know women who gain weight and some who dont after childbirth , I DID < my sister didnt , it depends on the woman, i dont know whether Bey will be one of those or not , maybe she will she seems to have thick limbs but who really cares , give me her looks and her money and damn the weight gain.
