Check out Brad Pitt in this strange Japanese TV commercial for Softbank.
Directed by Wes Anderson, it’s a remake of the 1953 French film Les Vacances de Monseieur Hulot.
Brad shot the ad in Normandy on September 20.
Says a set source: “There were lots of children on the set, and Brad was very friendly to all of them. Some of the children had complicated French names. He turned to them and said, ‘What is your name?’ in the most perfect French. He’s obviously been studying hard.”
In addition to learning French, the 44-year-old actor is also mastering Japanese. “Brad also used a few Japanese words to the Softbank execs too,” the source adds. “He’s becoming a master of many languages.”

I am embarassed for him
He is really desperate for money or something?
What can you do but laugh? But hey whatever ‘pays your bills’, maybe Jessica Simpson should look into it.
He’s a lovely man and very unusual for Americans in trying to learn international languages instead of being insular. He is an intelligent humane man, which is probably too much for the morons who usually comment on here to grasp. It’s just too complicated a concept. To the morons, there is a choice between good: the vacuous Aniston, and evil: the human, warm and interesting Jolie-Pitts. Give me the warm humans any day rather than that monster chinned mannequin.
It’s not unusual for American actors to make commercials overseas. Many of them do it, including his ex-wife Aniston.
Your dumb Mimi, bringing up shit that isn’t relevant to this topic. Just love starting shit up don’t you. And frankly I don’t think anyone cares who’s ‘team’ you are on.
Maybe you should read post#5 then realise what you are saying.
Hey Anon, Loons can’t help themselves. Just like their idols can’t
haha. mimi is probably fat.
Okay. This is embarassing. WHY? Perhap they should have those twins again, and net another 10 million.
GAWD!
I hope this makes it clear that he is a loon bat.
#6, 7 agreed! Mimi, the only moron is you. Instead of convincing other people, I think you’re trying to convince yourself. If it bothers you that much, then avoid it - quiet simple.
Tambourine, at least I know how to spell “quite”, dumbo!
That’s your argument? Well done on that one, you sure did make your point. Loonies baffle me all the time. About the typo I made, thanks for bringing it up though I will make sure that I double check the comments!
This comercial is jokes!
Mimi, seriously go and fuck yourself its easy to talk shit behind a computer but one day you will mouth off at the wrong person.
Desperation.
dang, they took it down so i didn’t get to see it. but big deal. famous american actors make foreign commercials all the time.
^ Trust me it was not a big deal.
’studying hard’? you learn to say ‘what is your name?’ in first year french. i hope that was sarcasm!
From meetthefamous,go there you can see the pic of them.
“Jennifer Who?”
posted 1 days ago 801 viewsJohn Mayer, was caught talking to a fox channel reporter at the premiere of his girl Jennifer Aniston’s movie Marley & Me.
It was all in good fun, but I thought these pictures were pretty interesting to post of the funny musician.
He has been doing this throughout his career, nothing new here.
And Mimi get a life you Brangeloonie, oh and pointing someones spelling mistakes on a GOSSIP BLOG?Lmfao!
Mimi darling, learning a few phrases in several languages does not make one “unusual”. Being FLUENT in those languages does. Anyone can learn a few phrases in several languages - I myself know several in at least 8 languages. I guess that makes me “unusual” and not “insular”. BWAHAHAHA
Mimi get a clue.
He’s so desperate
