Jason Priestley and wife Naomi Lowde-Priestley show off their new baby, Ava, on the cover of the new Us Weekly.
“She is very mellow,” says Naomi.
Why name her Ava? Says Jason: “We thought that Ava Priestley had a nice ring to it. It’s old-school and beautiful. I know there have been a few Ava babies in Hollywood, but we were undeterred! Besides, the names Apple and Ryder were already taken.”

I have always thought he was so cute, his new Lifetime show is so bland though, didn’t like it. He needs to focus on behind the camera work.
ha ha.. apple and ryder were already taken.. KUDOS JP.. that was pretty funny. Ava is a nice name… why should they name their kid some off the wall name.. then again.. why shouldn’t they.. last time I checked, it’s the parents choice.. let the kid hate them later

Jason’s cool. I used to hang out with him when he was dating my old boss (years ago)…I watched his dog for him when they’d go out of town. He’s a nice guy….I wish him well.
I know someone who used to clean Jason’s mom’s house here in Vancouver. Every so often she’d have to dust his old room. Cute baby!
