Nicole Kidman plays the role of doting substitute mother on Tuesday as the A-list actress steps out for a mid-afternoon shopping spree with her four-month-old niece Sybella.
So, just what was Nicole shopping for? A belated baby shower gift for BFF Naomi Watts.
The 40-year-old actresss was unable to make Naomi’s big star-studded fête last week due to filming obligations, but Nicole saved face by ordering a slew of high priced baby clothes for the mommy-to-be and her little one on the way.

^agreed^ enough with the funky names already. Why is it you don’t see her with her own kids ever? I mean keeping a low profile is one thing but they are almost never seen together.
Janine. there was a blind item - not so long ago - that I believe was about Kidman and Cruise’s divorce. Basically, it implied that they had a contract and she violated it. Therefore, Cruise divorced her and is now slowly but surely severing all ties between her and their kids.
Obviously, it might not be about them and it could be false but it makes sense to me.
If that is true Phoenix, that is disgusting. Whatever went down between the two of them should not effect the kids regardless of who did what to whom.
^doesn’t seem like she’s too bent out of shape about it.. I don’t think she ever saw them as HER kids b/c they were adopted.. shitty, I know, but it always seemed that way to me.

But I do think that if Nicole really cared about those kids she needed to fight a little harder. Or maybe she’s still a little bit brainwashed from all the cult-that-must-not-be-named-in-case-they-sue auditing.
That blonde hair on her looks awful. She looks so washed out and in the photos, it looks as if she is going prematurely gray.
I heard that too - about the marriage contract between Tom and Nicole. Heard there’s also one with Katie. Also heard Tom’s first choice for a reputation repairing new young wife was ScarJo, but she wasn’t into the idea at all!! Lots of juicy stuff on the Internet about that if you search for it.
