The Golden Globe nominations were just announced and Brad got a nod for his work in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Angie was nominated for Changeling.
At a couple of points during the nominations, the room broke out in hysterics — when Tom Cruise and Robert Downey Jr. were nominated for comedy Tropic Thunder and when James Franco got a nomination for his work in stoner movie Pineapple Express.
Looks like that humorous Oscar campaign urging a nomination for Kirk Lazarus, the actor Downey Jr. plays in Thunder, might have paid off.
The Globes, unlike the Oscars, have special categories for comedy work.
