Scarlett Johansson’s globetrotting knows no boundaries!
After hitting up New York, Madrid, London and Paris promoting her new flick The Spirit, the lovely actress is in Oslo, Norway today rehearsing for The Nobel Peace Prize Concert 2008.
The show – which will take place on December 11 – will feature performances by Diana Ross, Feist, Dierks Bentley, Jason Mraz, Julieta Venegas and Seun Kuti, and will be televised in over 100 countries.
The Nobel Concert is an annual event, and has in the past been hosted by Kevin Spacey, Uma Thurman, Sharon Stone, Salma Hayek and many others.
Meanwhile, Scarlett is among a slew of singers, writers, actors and campaigners urging rich nations to lead the way in tackling global warming to protect the world’s poor. They say developed nations must “show leadership” at UN climate talks in Poznan, Poland this week.
In a letter to The Times, Scar.Jo and fellow members of Oxfam write: “Wealthy nations, who are in their advantaged position because of heavy industrialisation, are the most responsible and most able to lead the world in tackling climate change. This is why they must show leadership in Poland and provide solutions that have the interests of the world’s poor at their heart.”

Do you think you could mention the name of the actor who was photographed with her? Just because he’s no longer under 25 years old is no reason to neglect to mention him. I would like to see where that little girl is in 40 years. I doubt that she’ll have the distinguished body of work behind her that Sir Michael Caine does!
