Joined by Queen Latifah and Ne-Yo, the Single Ladies songstress was on hand to honour Barbra Streisand. As a tribute, Beyonce took the stage and sang the 66-year-old entertainment legend’s classic The Way We Were amid an audience of A-listers and aristocrats, including Joss Stone, Clint Eastwood and James Brolin.
B recently told the Los Angeles Times of Babs: “Barbra Streisand, that’s the career model for me, I want to be like her. She is just the ultimate. And I want to be an icon too.”
Leave it up to Sasha Fierce to pay a compliment all while speaking of herself the entire time!

Barbra Streisand is the most talented entertainer of all time. She is so deserving of the Kennedy Center Honor. Beyonce is nowhere near the singer or actress Barbra is, and will never reach her level of movie stardom. It’s too bad Whitney Houston blew her chance at being a movie star who also sings. She could have been the black Barbra, but Beyonce, never.
