I’ve got more dirt on Britney Spears’ weekend of house hunting!
First, it’s almost certain that after only 40 minutes of looking, Brit bought a five-bedroom, eight-bathroom 8370 square foot Mediterranean style mansion set on 3.1 acres.
After giving a nod to one of her bodyguards, the Open House and For Sale signs were quickly removed and Brit and her boys were given some privacy to look around.
Rather than inspect her future home for deficiencies, the 25-year-old babymama opted to take a swim in the pool with Sean-P and baby Jayden-J. She could be heard playing airplane, chasing them around the pool area and spraying the waiting photographers with water.
When Britney’s bodyguard and real estate agent returned, they were equppied with paperwork and Britney stayed on for another hour before leaving with a huge smile on her face looking mighty pleased with herself. That, however, didn’t stop her from giving the one finger salute to one motorist that cut her up on her way home.
The house was originally designed and built by Ray Liotta in 1992 and was recently remodeled. Its price was reduced from $6.8 million to $6.5 million.

why is it a big deal that she only spent 40 minutes looking at the house before(supposedly) deciding to buy? I knew within 5 that I wanted my house! And really, it doesn’t take THAT long to walk through a house and see what it has to offer. I think 40 minutes is plenty of time! And I think it’s a much brighter, more airy house than her last place. Looks more accommodating to children. I would definitely think it was a bit weird to swim in the pool, if that’s even true, during a house showing! But hey, she was playing with her kids at least, that a step in the right direction! Hopefully.

I truly hope Britney has someone really sharp keeping an eye on her money and dare I say investments, and unless I’m mistaken I haven’t really noticed much of her music past, present or otherwise being played on terrestrial or satellite radio.
She spends like a drunken Irish dockworker on payday. What will she do when this new cd tanks?
