After her morning rush, the Sex and the City actress was seen taking her six-year-old son James Wilke Broderick to school in their West Village neighbourhood today.
The 43-year-old actress was dressed very casually in an oversized parka, jeans and her trademark Uggs.
Contrary to her big screen Carrie Bradshaw persona, SJP proudly prefers less expensive labels such as Top Shop, which is her first choice when it comes to shopping destinations.
Says the world famous fashionista: “I just can’t believe what they do for, like, $70. I love that they make fashion available for all women. That’s why everything in my own fashion range Bitten is under $20.”

I have yet to see a picture of that kid where he doesn’t look like he fell out of a Goodwill bin.
Little James has such delicate little features, but jeesh, cut those locks — he’s going to get the crap kicked out of him in a year or two.
Why does her kid never have on pants that are long enough? Why????? If she is such a fashionista, then why does her kid look like ^#2’s comment everytime we see him. I know some kids are quirky about what they want to wear, but shouldn’t his clothes choices actually fit him right? *End rant*

She has however punished us for years with her face but the press loves her.
I feel bad for this child. I know from when both my kids were in school that kids can be so cruel about things like their pants being too short. I wonder if this has anything to do with the fact that SJP grew up poor.
