Following a rather anticlimactic debut on the field yesterday, soccer ace David Beckham shows a little fan appreciation on Sunday while grabbing a cup of java at the Coffee Bean in West Hollywood.
Even though Beckham only played a whopping 12 minutes in his debut game with the L.A. Galaxy, the $250 million man wined and dined about 15 family and friends (including wife Victoria) at Wolfgang Puck’s emporium of incredibly delicious beef, Cut.
Next up for Becks? A star-studded welcome party at the Museum of Contemporary Art’s Geffen warehouse tonight.
If nothing else, the Beckham welcome party, hosted by Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith, is supposed to rival Vanity Fair’s Oscar party.
Rumour has it that the 600-person guest list looks more like a phone book.
