The merriment ended shortly thereafter when Mimi found out that she was edged out of a single nomination for her latest album, E=MC².
Guess lyrics like, “Cause they be all up in my business like a Wendy interview” didn’t quite resonate with the critics.

Her lack of development as an artist is all I can think of when I see this bloated has been. She is almost 40 years old and still sings about puppy love and crap like that. She is a joke!!

I caught a bit of her on an awards show the other night and she is now completely covering her left eye with her hair. I know she’s got the whole “only get photographed on my good side” thing but seriously, how badly wonked is her left eye? Notice, you see it in all her pictures - even these. I don’t think she’s pregnant (yet) but she is definitely starting to eat again now that she’s married. Her weight fluxuates - I think the curves look good on her but she could be a chunkmeister if she let herself in no time. She just doesn’t have a naturally skinny body - never has.
This was a rare moment in the life of Mariah Carey. She was actually wearing something that covered her boobs, and was not two sizes too small. She looks nice without the boobs hanging out everywhere.

It’s nice to see her covered and in a dress the right size, but I think she still looks silly. The whole ensemble is way too young for her. She should’ve worn black boots instead.
I think she looks pretty cute — (may have been a bit more appropriate 15 years ago,) but I think she could cultivate a Mary Tyler Moore/Raquel Welch/USO tour look that would look tons better than the crap she usually wears.
