Beloved evangelist-turned-reality star Tammy Faye Messner has died of lung cancer.
She was 65 years old.
Just earlier this week, despite her worsening condition, Tammy appeared on ‘Larry King Live.’ When asked what she would like to tell the many fans who were watching and listening, she said: “I’d like to say that I genuinely love you and I genuinely care and I genuinely want to see you in heaven one day. I want you to find peace. I want you to find joy.”
Rest in peace, Tammy.

She seemed like such a unique character, it’s be a shame to have lost such a talented, vivacious,individual.

Bless her heart, i’m glad she’s no longer in pain and is in heaven where she belongs! She was and still is a true inspiration on how people should be and treat others. Rest in peace Tammy!!!!

So sad. And can’t believe that she was on Larry King a couple of days before she died!!! Funny, but they say things happen for a reason. RIP Tammy Fae

rip to a beautiful woman who left this world gracefully..I’m not a Christian but i respect those with beliefs who stand behind them. She was truly an angel and an inspiration to others. RIP.

My aunt died of lung cancer this past May. A terrible and painful way to go. Rest in peace.

For all the scandal she was involved in, she still remained so upbeat and outwardly giving. Even on the Surreal Life, she was funny & self-effacing and truly likeable. We need more of that kind of positive force in this world. She will be missed.
