The formerly raven-haired beauty showed off a striking red ‘do at the 18th Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards in New York City on Tuesday.

EVR’s latest film, The Wrestler, is up for Best Feature at the star-studded ceremony.
Other A-list attendees stepping out to honour independant filmmaking included Jennifer Esposito, Michelle Williams, Mickey Rourke, Penelope Cruz, Rachel Weisz (in Narciso Rodriguez) and Ethan Hawke.

I think it’s much better. She looks like a man in the dark haired picture and it was just so obvious she was trying to be like Dita. I still don’t find her very attractive.

wow i used to call her ugly with black hair with this color she looks about 15 years younger and prettier and has a natural beauty with this color def. she has to keep this color and never go back to black color i’m sure she’s going to have a lot of suitors around her now.

I think she looks so much better than her “dita von teese” look. i love dita & i love evan rachel wood. But not even rachel wood as dita… I love the red… but i like her when she was blond. she looks more natural.

I LOVE her as an actress and think she is such a pretty girl, but that black hair wasn’t her. She looks so much better now!

She looks good. She’ll probably end up blonde as you need to go through the transitional red stage for a few weeks if you’ve had really dark hair and want to go blonde.
