The Oscar-winning actress has a lot to be happy about these days. Not only did she just spend a romantic Thanksgiving weekend in London with beau Jake Gyllenhaal, but she’s also returning to the news that her holiday comedy Four Christmases led the box office over the weekend with about $31.7 million in ticket sales.
Much like her romance with the Brokeback Mountain star, Reese’s latest critically panned flick has defied all critics. And considering she trampled all over Nicole Kidman’s highbrow Baz Luhrmann-directed epic, it also underlined Reese’s status as America’s most bankable modern sweetheart!

Jake needs a beard, Reese needs good PR after Ryan dumped her for another woman.
“most bankable modern sweetheart” is BS. Reese’s Vanity Fair, Just Like Heaven, Rendition and Penelope were FLOPS.
“Four Christmases” got terrible reviews and more people went to see it because of Vince Vaughn than Reese.
Yeah sure Tommy. America just couldn’t wait for the next Vince Christmas movie, you must be on drugs.
