The movie chronicles the rise of Chess Records, a Chicago label that ultimately helped launch the sound of rock ‘n’ roll music.
It tells the real-life stories of key figures of that era — Muddy Waters, Etta James, Little Walter and Chuck Berry.

Y’all hate on this girl so hard and don’t know one thing about her. First of all she is not 25 she is 27. Second of all she did gain weight for this role and she looked ten times heavier than this and thats just by looking at the trailors. Third, alot of people have been giving her props for wearing things she most likely wouldn’t have worn in past years. Like the outfits designed by Gareth Pugh she wore to the EMAs this year.

I agree ^^^, for me she is one of the only women who can look good without tons of make-up. ‘Lisa II’ I was just about to say the same thing, this is too typical for Beyonce; not saying that I don’t like it. But she could try something different.

I have heard her sing some of Etta James’ songs, and I have to say, she sounded great. No one is Etta of course, but she did a great job.
That’s not even a lace front… She’s been wearing her own hair line lately. I’m not saying all that hair is hers but from what I’ve seen, the last lace front she has worn at an event was the Grammys. Anyway if you’d look close enough you would have seen it.
I think this dress is really really pretty!! Gorgeous in fact! Beyonce loves to over do it, but this is just enough sparkle in my opinion. The fake hair gets on my nerves as well, even extensions would be better because at least some of it is her natural hair. She may as well just shave all her real hair off, as she’s in wigs all the time. I don’t think I’ll bother going to see this movie, Beyonce is not a very good actress at all.
