Following in the footsteps of Britney Spears, actress/humanitarian Hilary Swank is set to cut all her hair off — but this time, it’s for a good cause.
The double Oscar-winner just announced a partnership with Pantene Beautiful Lengths, a campaign that inspires people to grow, cut and donate their healthy hair to make free real-hair wigs for women who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment.
Hilary proudly showed off her long locks on Wednesday (above) as she shot a Pantene public service announcement - and at some point in the next year will get them sheared.

just to save yinz some time: Hair that is colored or permed is acceptable.
Hair that has been bleached (usually this refers to highlighted hair) is not usable.

She won’t be “Britney” she only has to donate 10″ so she’ll have a cute cut I’m sure. They ask for no bleached hair and no gray hair BUT if you donate less than 10″ or bleached or gray they’ll sell it to a for-profit wig company and the proceeds will still help the cause.
