While pal Nicole Richie is busy trying to piece together the remnants of her BFF’s relationship with Benji Madden, a seemingly happily single Paris Hilton is busy getting back to work!

Offering a rare full frontal shot of her famous mug, the queen of the three-quarter profile was all smug smiles at the launch of her latest fragrance, Fairy Dust by Paris Hilton, at Macy’s in Woodbridge, New Jersey on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the ever-reliable British tabloids are reporting that Paris has been desperately trying to win Benji back. She has reportedly been bombarding her Good Charlotte ex-lover with text messages, but he refuses to reply. When Paris heard Benji was at the Villa nightclub last weekend, she decided to confront him and took Avril Lavigne along for support.

A source tells the Daily Mirror: “All her friends reckoned it was a bad idea. And when Paris and Avril set off, one pal thought Benji should be warned and he went mad. The minute he put the phone down he ran out of the club. They missed each other by a few seconds and Paris was absolutely devastated.”

After Benji had stormed out of the club he reportedly ranted: “Can’t I have a night out in peace?”
