Check out Britney Spears’ hot performance of Womanizer during The Bambi Awards in Germany today.
While it’s infinitely better than her disasterous performance during the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards, the comeback queen just doesn’t command the stage like she once used to. Her crisp and impossible-to-do dance moves have been replaced with a lot of aimless walking around on stage.
She’s better….but not quite there yet. Your thoughts?
Afterwards, Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld presented Britney with an award for Best International Pop Star. She sure looks happy, doesn’t she?

I agree that its not like the performances she had years ago, but you gotta understand that this was her first live performance since the VMAs 07, and she was probably nervous cause its a big deal for her to perform live now and so many people are expecting either greatness or a total disaster.
So hopefully her performances will just get better from here and eventually she’ll be back to the Britney we saw in her prime like 4 years ago, you just got to give her time to get back into it, but overall i think she did really well!!

It cracks me up how she always comes out and lip synches. I think what would blow everyone away more is if she actually came out and sang a song.

I don’t understand how anyone can still like this girl. That peformance was shit, and I don’t care if it’s an improvement. i’m not feeling sorry for her, if she’s on about a comeback then fucking make one! Her X Factor peformance should be jokes; she must be embarrassed knowing that all the contestants have more talent than her.
its understandable shes nervous, her last performance was the vma’s last year and she was slated for it. once she gets her performing confidence back she’ll be fine.
this was a big improvement, and she’ll only get better.
Actually I’d rather she lipsynched, I was watching a live YES live peformance (of ‘Everytime’) of her on her ‘Onyx Hotel’ tour, and my ears were bleeding. I felt bad for her she was terrible.
why did she steal Madonna’s Costume?
Britney’s fans are so delusional because they crucify every other performer like Beyonce, Leona, Rihanna, and Christina but any craptastic performance by Britney is OMG! She’s Amazing! which is quickly followed by excuse after excuse about the quality of the performance. Unfortunately, they are setting her up for a fall because she’s obviously not ready and she will be shredded.
I agree with the person “hmm” who just said that she is not ready yet. This is sad, but true. She is not the same. Something is missing. I hope it is a problem with confidence and she will quickly regain it with practice in concert settings… but if she keeps this up, she will get shredded by real critics.
I think the whole performance was awesome!! She looked confident on stage, and while she didn’t dance as hard as she used to we have to remember that this is her first performance in a while and also that she’s not 17 anymore. She’s had two babies since then. I bet when Gwen tours with No Doubt next she’s not going to be as energetic as she used to be with the band.
I think her body looks incredible, the costume is hot and the whole circus theme is really cool, I love this version of Womanizer. You can even hear Britney singing over the track at times as well. HOT HOT HOT!

Yes she sings and moves better than me, but compared to the AMA’s the other night, this German performance she put on is pathetic…same old same old….God forbid if she changes it up a bit…now THAT would be a come back…but then what do I care? I never bought her nasal-quality C.D’s anyway…..
Don’t use Heidi Klum as an example. She doesn’tperform/dance/sing. She Models. And of course this wasnt her BEST performance ever but it was still very good. AND post # 4 she was singing, just not the whole thing obviously. Don’t judge people because most of you can’t do anywhere close to what she just did.
Look, she’s not going to be exactly the way she was in her prime at age 19. Give the chick a break. She looks great. She pulled off the routine and she is apparently enjoying herself (or at the very least full of life).

whatever she’s doing, Madonna has done it 10000000000000000 times over and did it 10000000000000000 better. I like Britney and I wish her well, but seriously……….even the entire wardrobe is complete Madonna rip-off. Disappointed.

She looks really great and I’ve always loved watching her perform. This was low-key, but still very well choreographed and executed.
And yeah Anon I totally agree as to why she bothers wearing a mic when we all know she’s not singing… I mean, you can’t dance and sound EXACTLY like the recorded track on the album. Impossible. Plus she’s not a very strong singer. It’s like the elephant in the room when watching her perform.
