Dressed in Marchesa, teen queen Miley Cyrus was among the first to hit the red carpet at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles ahead of the 8 p.m. EST broadcast.
The birthday girl will officially turn 16 at tonight’s star-studded show. MC will celebrate when she takes the stage to perform. A source says that her friends, Dancing with the Stars pro Julianne Hough and country singer Taylor Swift, are planning a birthday surprise for the Bolt star.

That dress is just too old for her. It simply screams “beauty pageant contestant turned cougar”. At least her makeup looks reasonably fresh and age-appropriate.

Hot dress but I do think that its too old for her. She’s only 16! So young to be going to all these awards and pouting away at the camera. For some reason Britney and Christina seemed so much older when they started out at 16…maybe I’m just older
She looks just like any other ten who just took the braces off the teeth. I seriously dont see the big appeal surrounding this girl. She’s even annoying and a bit of a try-too-hard who just cannot for the life of her pull off a sexy image.
