Mandy Moore is obsessed with fashion and “there is no turning back!”
The singer, actress and full-fledged fashionista talks body image, fashion and growing up in Hollywood in the August issue of InStyle magazine.
Mandy on her body as she’s growing up: “I’m getting more comfortable showing my curves, being 23 and embracing that. You have to step up sometimes.”Mandy on the sexiest part of a woman’s body: “Everyone has a beautiful collarbone — no matter what size you are. It doesn’t always have to be about accentuating your boobs or your legs.”
Mandy on her style: “I used to be a tomboy, and blissfully unaware of fashion. Now I’m in the thick of it and there’s no turning back.”

we all saw pics of her in a bikini not too long ago and she’s like 20 lbs bigger than this
i am so sick of these young girls speaking like their experienced. she’s 23. but at least she’s not showing her crotch or snorting lines off some fat guy’s chest!
she’s only 23? i thought she was older. huh. secondly, that’s not true about the collarbone, mandy — you can’t even see fat people’s!
oh and it disgusts me the way they airbrush all these women down to a size 2. she is NOT that thin.
She is so pretty but yes kinda boring and her music is so old for her age I can’t stand it. It is pretty bad that she is nonstop talking about how she embraces her body not being anorexic and then they photoshop her down to a size nothing.
she should throw a fit that they photoshopped her so much…..like Jamie Lee Curtius did- I still have so much respect for JLC for doing that shoot w/o the help.
i think it’s horrible that she’s talking about how she “embraces her body” but then the photos are so airbrushed, sends a message to young girls that even this super thin body is not good enough!!

Weird, I just watched License to Wed (like 30 minutes ago), and her outfits in that were TOO CUTE in it. Not that she had all that much to do w/ wardrobe, but she was wearing them. Anyway, no she is NOT that thin, but watching the movie, she appeared to be. I think maybe she lost some weight for the movie? Eh, I like her. Saved! was a good flick.
I think she is gorgeous. It’s not her fault that they airbrushed her–remember the whole Kate Winslet issue a few years back?
The photoshopping is getting ridiculous. Everyone is starting to look exactly the same.

I love that she is into collarbones - they are on of the sexiest parts of a woman’s body, in my opinion. Even fat people can have hot collarbones (myself, for example. My ass may be ginormous, but my collarbones are sexxxee.)
Airbrushed pictures or no airbrushed pictures, mandy moore is very beautiful and respected. All celebrities have their ups and downs in their career but good thing about mandy is she takes care of herself, her image. Bad thing about her is choosing boyfriends, but no one is perfect. Mandy Moore is a GREAT singer. She sings, not rap. She acts, unlike other celebrities acting to be wild and cool (DUI, Jail time, etc). I like Mandy Moore and good choice for instyle magazine to have her for cover.
Mandy Moore has a very beautiful face, voice, and smile. The problem with people is they choose rap (CRAP) music over real beautiful songs. People choose DUI, in-troubled celebrities over respected and dignified people like Mandy Moore. I like her because she managed to have a good image and for having the temerity to step up and make a bold music career change. For a 23 yr old woman who has accomplished so many things, I would say she is matured and smart. I hope Mandy remained single for years because choosing wrong men really have an impact on her life and career.
