The heiress and beau Benji Madden are officially kaput.
The duo broke up a few days ago after more than nine months of dating.
A source tells People mag: “He was loyal and sweet but it was time to take a break.”
Reps have yet to confirm the news, but trouble was apparent when Paris was seen whispering sweet nothings in the ear of her old boyfriend Stavros Niarchos over the weekend in Miami, where she worked the pink carpet at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show while her rocker beau was in New York for TRL’s final episode.
The former couple hinted at plans for marriage many times and Benji famously once said: “”Paris is the love of my life. She’s the most beautiful woman in the world. She is my life, my heart and my soul and is the most important thing in my life. No one exists but her. I am the most loyal guy in the world and would never even look at anyone else.”

I expected this to last a few weeks tops. This “relationship” was doomed from the very beginning. Benji is too good for Paris.

They dont look like a couple, they look like two different people…..too weird….I agree they were acting, like Mayer and Jen, or Diaz and Sculfor. Publicity agents see it as a well trodden method to increase sales of both parties due to increased career exposure.
Now he can wear a shirt that says “I dated paris hilton and all I got was this lousy shirt” AND HERPES!
Hahahaha, he must feel like a total fool for declaring to the world his love for her.
Paris is a man, that wears dresses. Benji needs to find him a woman.
