Scheduled for a Febrary 9, 2009 release date, It’s Not Me, It’s You marks a new direction in the British songbird’s saccharine sweet career.
Lily dropped Everyones At It, the first track from the highly anticipated album, late last month on her MySpace page. The song appears to be a commentary on the drug culture and is expected to cause controversy.
It includes the lyrics: “I’m not trying to say that I’m smelling of roses but when will we tire of putting sh*t up our noses”, “It’s meant to be fun and this just doesn’t feel right” and “So you’ve got a prescription, and that makes it legal. I find those excuses overwhelmingly feeble… The kids are in danger, they’re all getting hurt. From what I can see, everyone’s at it.”
Meanwhile, it appears singing isn’t Lily’s only career aspiration. She is reportedly considering pursuing an acting career.
Says a source: “She thinks it might get her out of the spotlight, which is what she has found hard to cope with, even though film or TV roles will hardly be low-profile. [Lily] says the next six months will be the most important of her life. She is getting some control back.”

bitch could lose her beer gut before shooting a new video?
not flattering on her at all
That dress is insanely ugly. I’m not a fan of Lily, some of her songs are ok but I feel like she tries way too hard to be in that cool British set. She’s a stuck up little brat who thinks she can get away with anything.
Why did she cut her hair to have extensions put in? Idiocy. I like Lily, I think she is aware that she isn’t this perfect starlet and she has learned to live with that. I like her music, it’s real.
Looks like she gained all her weight back.
