After her two-year-old daughter Violet displayed a few symptoms of a cold, the cautious mother decided to take her to a Beverly Hills medical center to be checked out.
What’s more? At home she’s dealing with hubby Ben Affleck and his obsession with playing poker.
After officially giving up on trying to curb his habit following months of vain attempts to get him to put down the deck, Jen is reportedly building him a a private gaming suite in their home.
A source tells the National Enquirer: “Jen wanted Ben to cut out playing poker completely, but she knew that wasn’t realistic. So she decided to build a room at home where Ben could have the boys over once a week. When it’s done, Ben’s poker room is expected to look just like a private high-roller suite at the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas, which is where he likes to play.”
So she’s taking care of her sick daughter. And she’s building her hubby a private poker room.
Oh, and did we mention she’s set to give with in just a few weeks?

Where is Jennifer’s deadbeat husband, why isn’t he helping his stressed out 8 months pregnant wife with their sick daughter. Ben’s probably on a poker holiday in vegas. She’s nearly always alone with that child, he rarely plays any part in their lives.

As fun as it is to speculate, I can’t fault Ben for not being in these pics. He’s been seen with Jennifer and Violet quite a bit lately…at the park, at that store in ny, mostly dropping off and picking up the kid at school. And for all we know, he helped out at home.
Anyway, how do we know this story about Violet being sick and going to the doctor?
My opinion of Ben is that he enjoys being seen with his pregnant wife. Once she got big, we started seeing him more. I *believe* that happened with the first pregnancy as well.
Maybe not “enjoys being seen with” per se but that, for one reason or another, he’s more likely to spend more time with her in public when she’s visibly pregnant.
