The globetrotting couple presented a united front as they attended a Changeling photocall at the Curzon Mayfair in London.
During the event, Angelina told reporters that she based her performance as Christine Colins, a woman whose son disappears, on her own mother and dedicated her performance to her.
Says Angie of her mother: “She was very much Christine Collins. She was very sweet and she would never get angry and she would never swear, but when it came to her kids she was fierce, so this was very much her story.”
With her twins Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon along for the trip to the UK, Miss Jolie added that she was looking forward to a big family Christmas and said it was likely her family would expand in the future.
And despite all those retirement claims she’s been making, Angelina is going back to work. She confirmed news that she will be replacing Tom Cruise in the spy movie Edwin A. Salt during a BBC Radio interview this morning.
Writers reportedly reworked the lead character — a CIA officer falsely accused of being a Russian agent — to be female.
Angelina said she’ll return to work in February, but after that, she won’t work for a year. “I like being home a lot,” the mother of many said. “First and foremost, I have a lot of children, and I need to make sure they’re growing right and they’ve got us there for them.”

Geez, I feel bad but I really cannot stand the sloppy way Ange dresses. Her clothes are so boring and ill-fitting. What’s the deal? I’ve seen her in jeans and she looks great.
