This year the organization honoured Simon Fuller, CEO & founder of 19 Entertainment Limited for spearheading the Idol Gives Back phenomenon and mobilizing Americans to take action; Queen Latifah, for being one of the incredible pioneers in the fight against AIDS; and Jackie Branfield, founder of Operation Bobbi Bear for being a true hero in the lives of children in South Africa.
The evening festivites began with a cocktail party followed by a seated dinner with extraordinary live performances by Justin Timberlate, Joni Mitchell, Jack White, Emmanuel Jal and, of course, A.Keys.
The star-studded annual benefit dinner aims raise funds and assist children and families in Africa who are living with HIV/AIDS.
A-list attendees included Chris Daughtry, Elijah Wood, John Mayer, Tyra Banks (in Michael Kors) and Zoe Kravitz.

Jessica Alba can’t pull off the blunt bang look. i like the extra pounds on her and the darker hair, there’s nothing about her that’s not perfect except for her hair style.

Woah…how much does Padma just leave Alicia and Jessica for dead. Padma looks elegant and classy and just gorgeous while the other two just look a complete mess. Alicia’s dress, waistcoat, hair is just all wrong and I don’t think I’ve seen Jessica look this bad ever. The fringe is a disaster and to me she’s just lost her sex appeal altogether.
