While he’s no longer touring, the man who Jennifer Aniston says she “adores” can soon be found on a TV screen near you.
Rumour has it John has just inked a deal to produce his own weekly variety show for CBS.
With buzz for his hot headline-making romance with Miss Aniston, networks execs are hoping to push the project for an early 2009 premiere.
Interestingly, Rosie O’Donnell will be hosting a very similiar show — complete with celebrity guests, musical acts, comedy skits and a prize give-aways — later this month for rival network NBC.
Whose show would you rather watch: John or Rosie’s?

I am not a big fan of Rosie’s but she does TV very well and a lot of stars love her so I think her show would be better!!
John’s a very funny man. I’ll sure watch his show if it’s true.
Good luck with his show, if that is what he wants, but he isn’t dating Jen.
