DO WE HAVE TO BE HERE?

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were looking more bored than a slab of granite as they signed copies of their new book, Influence, at the Borders Bookstore in Westwood, CA on Wednesday night.

The fun appeared to be outside as PETA had protesters with signs calling the sisters “Fur Tramps.”

As for their fashion forward coffeetable book? More stale reviews continue to pour in.

Here’s the latest one from Enertainment Weekly. They graded the book with a passable C.

In Influence, fashion-forward mini-mavens Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen talk to the famous figures who have inspired and shaped them.
Confession: Mary-Kate says during her interview with Karl Lagerfeld that she doesn’t ”feel the need to get married.”
Muses: John Galliano, Anna Wintour, Lauren Hutton
Childhood Tidbit: Ashley once draped an entire house in moss for a friend’s birthday.
Dish: Diane von Furstenberg tells them she informed future husband Egon von Furstenberg — then in India — by telegram that she was considering having an abortion (she didn’t have one).

They both look very sexy yet very classy. Unlike most of the hooches in Hollyweird. Well done girls!

I think PETA are trying to save life and stop cruelty. It is valuable work. Seeing two rich stupid girls in dead animals creates resentment in anyone.

Open toe boots - what an (ahem) interesting look. I continue to be surprised how grown men find them hot. All I see is bug eyed little moppets telling Uncle Jesse that he’s a “cool dude”.

This is actually the first time they look grown up. Before now they always looked like kids playing dress up.

Did they have wax statues made of themselves? They came complete with those annoying little smirks.

People that wear fur should really do some research on how the poor animals are treated before they end up on some ugly-ass human’s back. How can any decent human-being think it’s right to support the fur industry? And Lola you are a cold, heartless swine. Let’s rip off your skin and make a fucking coat of it!
