Meanwhile, with just weeks to go until New Year’s Eve, professional partier Paris has already made some hot plans. She will join Aussie starlet Sophie Monk at the launch of a new online social networking system, Bongo Virus.
The pay-per-view party will be an invite-only affair for those on the ground in the Harbour city, but for five bucks the desperate and dateless can log on to celebrate with The Simple Life star.
In a press release from the event’s organizers, Paris is quoted as saying “I love the idea … Sydney is going to go off this New Year’s Eve … I can’t wait to be partying with the Aussies and Benji deejaying by my side.”
While it is unknown how much Miss Hilton is being paid to party, her last visit for John Singleton’s Bondi Blonde beer launch was reported to have set the larrikin ad man back about $500 000.
But with the credit crunch and factoring in fake tan inflation, that price tag is estimated to have doubled since that 2006 circus.
