Organizers of the World Music Awards discovered they were tight on space when it came to dressing rooms and thus were forced to hand it out based on star calibur.
While A-listers like Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys and even sister Beyonce were ushered into the plushest suites available at the Club Sportif in Monte Carlo (complete with scented candles, flowers, chocolates and plasma screen TVs) , Solange was forced to make do with “a glorified cupboard, listed as “Box 2″.
A source tells Britain’s the Mirror: “It wasn’t a deliberate snub but she had to make do with a broom cupboard. She ended up bunking in with big sister Beyonce. Some of the stars were giggling about her and comparing notes on the facilities.”
