A TOUCH OF GLAMOUR

Musician Keith Urban and actress Nicole Kidman were among the stars who stepped out tonight to attend the 2008 Glamour Women of the Year Awards at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

Clad in a L’Wren Scott cream sheath, Nicole was among the ten extraordinary and inspirational winners who have made unprecedented contributions to the worlds of entertainment, business, sports, fashion, science and politics.

Each of the lovely ladies who were honoured as one of the 2008 Women of the Year are profiled in the December issue of Glamour, on newsstands November 11, with a stunning photo portfolio by renowned photographers, including Norman Jean Roy.

In addition to Nicole, honourees included Tyra Banks, Hillary Clinton, Chanel CEO Maureen Chiquet, primatologist Jane Goodall, the Nobel Women’s Initiative, Condoleezza Rice, Olympians Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh, Kara Walker and human rights lawyer Nujood Ali, who helped a 10-year old Yemeni child bride take the stand against her husband in court, and was granted a historic divorce.

A-list attendees on hand to add some girl power included America Ferrera, Debra Messing, Jane Krakowski, Kate Bosworth, Natalie Portman, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Taylor Swift and special performer of the night Fergie.

    I wonder what Nicole is trying to hide on her upper arm? I watched her on Oprah today and I was really diggin’ the bit of gray growin in her bangs

    Nicole Kidman fue una de las diez premiadas, estaba muy elegante toda de blanco con un L’Wren Scott de primavera de 2009.
