Jessica Simpson launched her much anticipated swimwear line at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Miami yesterday in front of a star-studded audience.
The 26-year-old starlet-turned-designer’s first foray into fashion design had been hugely hyped in the lead up to the major fashion show, from pundits eager to see if Miss Simpson had what it takes to step into the rag trade.
The line of sexy swimwear featured skimpy two-piece bikinis as well as bold coloured one-piece suits.
Jessica reportedly played a major role in the design and marketing of the line and was said to have hand selected the runway models who would be promoting her designs during the Fashion Week events.

It looks more like underwear than swimwear… oh well, hope it goes well for her. She needs SOMETHING to go her way, you know?
There should be some rules for who’s allowed to have a fashion show, and who’s NOT. This is so wrong on so many levels.

Why does EVERY SINGLE female celebrity feel they need to design clothes? It’s not like they’re gonna have major fashion breakthroughs. Most of it looks tacky anyway.

Everything she has done has failed: tv show, acting career, singing career, perfume, shoe line, John Mayer. Some of those suits are cute, though. That is why I am sure she only had a small part in the designing of the line. Love all the stupid faces she gives.
Why does she have to make all those annoying faces? Anyway, I like the dress she’s wearing, very pretty. I also like that bikini. The color combination, everything. Really nice.

Her mom bugs me. Why can’t she let her daughter have 5 minutes in the spotlight without joining in? Both her parents pimp their daughters to live out their own dream of fame…..sickening!
Rodman was so upset that the suits didn’t come in his size that he got up on stage.
They actually are pretty nice.
