Meanwhile, Xtina has blasted rumours of a feud between herself and fellow pop princess Britney Spears.
She tells Britain’s Daily Mail: “”When we both started releasing records, it was a funny time for me. It must have seemed as if we were competing with each other, but, in reality, Britney is someone that I used to hold hands with. We were silly little girls together on the Mickey Mouse Club. What a journey it has been for both of us! There have been so many stories about the two of us not getting on. I think she does mean part of what she says but I get the feeling Christina has always been a bit bitter towards Britney. They both started the Mickey Mouse around the same time, and early on in their careers they were fairly similar but Britney just completely expoloded and she has always been just a few steps ahead of Xtina. Even before Britney’s crazy antics she was a household name, hell my grandparents even knew who she was…I don’t think the same could be said for Christina. She’s certainly talented but she lacks that incredible stage presence that Britney had.
