Now both the American MTV Awards and the European ones have jumped the shark. Shitney is not worthy of any award for last year’s mess of a CD. The girl was in the middle of a nervous breakdown when it was recorded, which is why is sucked.

There is no way in hell her album was better than Duffy, Alicia Keys, or Leona fuckin Lewis. Give me a break with that crap. Yes, she is getting her act together but that album had 4 good songs on it at best.

Blackout may not have had any promotion and the videos weren’t good, but the CD was awesome! Everyone I know, Britney fan or not, has liked this album because it’s just full of uptempo, party songs. It’s a shame that the whole promotion thing was done so poorly and that there were only two singles released because I think it could have done even better than it did. It’s certainly been well received when it comes to awards though, obviously more people liked it than I thought. Congrats to her and she looked really cute in the video with the short wig.
Post 22 - AGREED! MTV is dead, and so is music apparently (if you can call it that). I get so mad when talentless whores like her win awards like these; it was not fucking album of the year. Shitey is over people, you think she is gonna be able to get away with singing these uptempo voice alternated songs for the next 5 years - i don’t think so. At least all these other singers (and I mean artists who can actually sing) have a chance of peforming when they’re in their 40s+. Enjoy it while you can cause she aint gna be around for long (apart from in the media).
