Channeling her inner genie, Hilary Duff served up another one of her trademark lip synced performances of her current hit, ‘Stranger’, on last night’s installment of ‘So You Think You Can Dance.’
Despite the lack of actual singing (does anyone do that anymore?), Miss Duff has most definitely improved as a performer (no more awkward one-hand-in-the-air dance) and (more importantly) her abs are tiiiiiiiight!

i don’t think she lip synched this. she was breathing heavily hafter the song, and she also did that shout out in the middle of the song. but i do agree her stage presence has improved. her hips were hypnotizing!

Anon, I don’t think it was supposed to be true belly-dancing. I think it was more “middle eastern inspired.” Also, I’m about 90% sure she’s not lip syncing. If she had been dancing harder (a la Britney Spears), I would be more inclined to think she was lip syncing, but I’m pretty sure she did the vocals live.
Oh yeah, she was lip synching. She may have been singing along, but the main sound came from the studio version. But who cares anyway, she’s really cute! And I love the dance remix of Stranger. It’s REALLY good.
haha….the ONLY thing that britney spears does hard is fucking eat cheetos. did you not see the video of her ‘comeback’ tour. stank ass barely moved around the stage.

I do like her BUT I wish she would just sing and not lip-sinc all the time.You can so tell she is not singing for real because she always has the microphone covering her mouth totally! No one else does that so well but her….singing live is so much better.
