After five months of training, Ryan Reynolds will be running in the ING New York City Marathon on Sunday.

Speaking during a press conference at the Tavern on the Green today, the newlywed revealed that his decision to run 26.2 miles is contrary to his better judgment. “I would sooner be prime minister of the moon than run another marathon,” he said. “I’ve been really lucky. I didn’t have any toenails fall off or anything disgusting like that. I still have all three nipples.”

As for whether wife Scarlett Johannson will be on hand to lend some support? “She’ll be on the road somewhere,” he says. “She better be.”
