French couturier Yves Saint Laurent is said to be at the American Hospital in Paris with acute health problems.

WWD reports that that Pierre Bergé, the legendary couturier’s partner, said YSL was “not doing well” and that he was beset with respiratory trouble.

The 70-year-old designer, who has been dogged by years of poor health, also is having difficulty walking.
