Our photogs caught up with the American Idol reject enjoying a game of hide-and-seek with funny man Orlando Jones after her workout in West Hollywood today.
After having been dumped by her label BMG earlier this year, we haven’t heard much from Miss McPhee lately. But rumour has it she’s currently laying down some tracks for a new record in hopes of a summer 2009 release.
And while she can work the stage like an old pro, Katharine has just revealed that she suffers from from an extreme case of pre-show anxiety.
“I think I still get terrible stage fright, no I don’t think — I know,” she tells Fox News. “But I just try to breathe and I try to remember why I’m singing and not who I’m singing for.”
Adds a source: “She used to get so worked up I almost thought she was going to be sick. Being criticized (by the judges) was the scary part.”

She’s a great singer. She just got given some dud songs. I don’t know why everyone hates her so much.
