POLICE INVESTIGATE CHILD’S BODY

A child’s body was found early this morning in a vehicle on Chicago’s West Side and police are investigating whether it is Julian King, the missing nephew of Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office has sent investigators to the scene in the 1300 block of South Kolin Avenue where the boy was found around 8 a.m., an office spokesman said.

The child had not been identified.

Stay tuned.

UPDATE: The child’s body was found inside a 1994 white Chevy Suburban — the same SUV owned by Jason Hudson, the murdered brother of Jennifer, who has offered a $100 000 reward for his safe return.

it sounds like it is him — it was the vehicle the police were looking for. how monstrous must one be to not only murder the grandmother and uncle; but the child himself. my god.:

It’s obviously him. Tragic. I hope Jennifer Hudson and her family are surrounded by people at this time. I can’t imagine what they are going through. This poor boy’s mother must be devastated.

I was so hoping Julian would be found safely. This is really heartbreaking.. he was just 7 years old. Two years younger than my little sister. Whoever committed the murders is a disgusting and loathsome human being. Awful.

There are reports that the boy had been tortured. Apparently the body showed evidence of abuse and mutilation. RIP Julian. That poor innocent child. He paid the price for his mother’s horrible choices. My heart breaks for Jennifer. I don’t know if I could ever forgive my sister for bringing a convicted felon and murderer into my mother’s home. Some women are so desperate for a man that they’ll risk their own family.

The boy’s body was mutilated. That’s why it’s taking so long to do a positive identification. His face was disfigured in some way. It’s possible he was shot in the face. The coroner may need dental records to confirm Julian’s identity.
